Fouad M. Obeid, born in 1990, is a member of the Beirut Bar Association since 2013.

Fouad graduated from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2011, with an L.L.B in Law, and a Diploma in Advanced Legal English from Georgetown University.

In 2012, he earned a Masters’ degree in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution accredited with Panthéon-Assas, Paris II and was a Grand-Holder for training at the Paris Court of Appeal, and in 2021 he earned a LL.M in Business/Commercial Law from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.

Fouad joined Obeid and Medawar Law Firm in 2012, where he specializes in both corporate and commercial law and dispute resolution by Arbitration and ADR methods.

He provides clients with initial advice, managing and pleading their cases, drafting summons and conclusions, and ensuring debt recovery for many renowned banks and financial institutions in the MENA region.

On the corporate and commercial law aspect, Fouad provides clients with legal opinions and conducts legal due diligences for groups of companies, he regularly advises clients on identifying the best legal and tax structures in addition to a wide spectrum of other corporate matters with in depth expertise in corporate structures and restructurings (including family fortune structure and protection, IP rights protection, tax efficiency) in several jurisdictions, M&A transactions.

Fouad is also extensively experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements and contracts for different genres of transactions in multiple sectors (including private equity investments, EPC, partnerships, E Gaming)

Fouad is fluent in Arabic, English and French, and has basic efficiency in Spanish.
