Team Members

Riwa R. Madi is a Junior Associate at Obeid and Medawar Law Firm (O&M) since 2022. She joined the Beirut Bar Association (Syndicate of Lawyers) in 2023.

Born in 2000, Riwa graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Saint Joseph University – Beirut in 2022 with an LL.B. in Business Law.

Freshly graduated from law school, Riwa is planning to pursue higher studies in Business Management and Commercial Law abroad in the near future.

During her academic years, Riwa interned at the Ministry of Justice and worked alongside the Minister of Justice at that time, Marie Claude Najm Kobeh on the modernization of the public administrations.  Moreover, she completed a summer internship at Bitar law firm in Tripoli, Lebanon where she gained experience in commercial and civil law by conducting various legal research on different matters. She was also part of her university’s Legal Clinic which offers pro bono work.

An active member of the Lebanese civil society, Riwa co-founded Let’s Talk Politics, an independent discussion platform based in Tripoli where she contributed to the organization of political and social discussions with different Lebanese figures.

Riwa’s area of expertise at O&M is corporate and business law in the UAE and Lebanon. She prepares and examines all kinds of international agreements in addition to being involved in the incorporation process for businesses in the UAE, particularly the Abu Dhabi Global Market.

Riwa is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
