Zeina A. Azzi joined Obeid and Medawar Law Firm (O&M) in 2012. She is a member of the Beirut Bar Association (Syndicate of Lawyers).

Zeina graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Saint Joseph University with an LLB in Private Law in 2013.

She pursued her studies at Paris II Pantheon Assas University where she obtained a Masters II (DEA) in International Private Law and International Commercial Law in 2014. Zeina is currently preparing for her PHD thesis in the subject of International Private Law before the same renowned institution in Paris.

She obtained in 2013 a certificate in International Criminal Law and International Criminal Proceeding from the Hague Academy in collaboration with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).

In 2023, Zeina became a CEDR accredited mediator. Zeina is a lecturer at the University of Saint Joseph of Beirut since 2018 on the subjects of Business Ethics and Labor Law.

Zeina is an activist in many humanitarian organizations. She is President and co-founder of “HaydaBaytak” NGO.

At O&M Zeina specializes in corporate structuring, effectively employing legal frameworks that optimize growth and financial well-being for her clients. Her proficiency in wealth management allows her to provide comprehensive solutions that align with clients’ long-term objectives. She identifies the most advantageous legal and tax structures to optimize outcomes for her clients.

In the arena of international transactions, Zeina adeptly handles complex deals, leveraging her deep understanding of legal intricacies across borders. Zeina acts as the legal advisor of many local and international companies, ensuring that all their activities and transactions adhere to the complex web of laws and regulations governing the business world. She is responsible for structuring and negotiating all types of agreements, with the aim of protecting her clients’ interests while minimizing legal risks. She provides essential guidance on corporate governance, compliance with regulatory requirements, and risk management strategies. She has a proven track record in arbitration cases, representing clients before esteemed local and foreign institutions.

Zeina became a partner at Obeid & Medawar Law Firm LLP in 2023.

She is multilingual (Arabic, English and French) and is co-author of “Doing Business” Annual Report, published by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation.
